Hobie Mesh Stowage Pocket is great for holding all sorts of your essentials. These will fit on almost any kayak. Designed to fit specifically on Hobie kayaks molded in side gear storage tray. The pocket also works on the Jackson Cuda series. This is a replacement stowage pocket. This pocket comes with 2 screws which is perfect for hobie kayaks. You can reuse other screws in place on a Hobie. If you are installing on another kayak you will need to buy 4 more stainless steel screws at your local hardwear store.

Great Upgrade

I've had my Quest for nearly a decade now. The old map pockets had long been blown out due to weather effects on the elastic and thread. These new pockets are made completely of rubber, so no more elastic and thread. Only time will tell how they last, but so far I'm happy with the replacement. All the holes lined up just right. I used the existing plastic frame and existing screws. You could likely get away without the plastic frame if that part was broken, as the rubber is rigid enough to hold form on its own.

I am getting tired of the old material snagging hooks which becomes a pain to pull out. Sometimes it creates a hole on the old mesh fabric. I put the new ones one and did a field test right after. No more snags! Great new product.
