For the Kayak Angler: Why you need a Visicarbon Pro.
I’ve been kayak fishing going on my fourth year now and this is the first year where I have a light mounted on my kayak. It’s the Visicarbon Pro and the beauty in this product is that it’s gear track accessible and folds up into a nice 12 inch sleeve that can be stowed away when no longer in use. However, when in use, you have a nice 4 foot high pole with a super bright 360 degree LED light beaming so that every other boater on the water can clearly see that you are there. It seems silly to me that it took this long for me to get a light for my kayak but as I ventured down to Texas this past year, I learned to be legal on the water, I’d need a light of some sort before sunrise. And I’m extremely glad I did with at times 100+ other boaters on the water racing to their best spots before first light. If you don’t have some sort of 360 light on your kayak already and you like to fish very early (or even late at night), I highly suggest you get the Visicarbon Pro. It is light weight, collapsible, and most importantly, will keep you visible and safe while you’re on the water in low/no light conditions.
